Our story

Nestled in the hills of Finca la Montaña, Musa weaves a story of connection between the land, the plants, and the people who tend to our coffee.
Crafted by the region's ideal climate of cool temperatures and ample rainfall, our beans honor the rich tradition of Colombian coffee cultivation, resulting in unique flavors that capture the essence of our land.

Altitude

Our coffee is grown at elevations over 6,000 ft (1800m) where nutrient-rich volcanic soil and cooler temperatures allow for extended cherry maturation -developing beans with refined acidity and complex flavor profiles.

Variety

Our farm primarily cultivates Castillo, a resilient and high-performing variety well-suited to our region’s climate and elevation. Its natural resistance allows us to maintain consistent quality. In addition to Castillo, we are proud to offer a limited selection of exotic varieties such as Geisha and Wush Wush

Process

Processed using a washed method, our coffee undergoes precise fermentation and thorough rinsing to emphasize the clarity in the cup. While washed coffees are at the core of what we do, we also offer limited selections using honey and semi-washed methods.

Water

We use clean, natural water sourced directly from our farm for all coffee processing. It’s a vital part of preserving the integrity of each bean and producing a cup that reflects the purity of its origin.
